Changes in testing CONDITIONING(測試環境的變化)

      All preconditioning in the new ISO EN 20344 range has been changed(所有預放置樣品按新的ISO EN 20344改變的范圍)

Ergonomics assessment(人體力學的評估)

      This is required by the PPE directive and is now included in the EN ISO norm(該要求是由PPE指示,現在包含在EN ISO標準)

      Three operations are carried out:(執行以下三個操作:)

Questionnaire for the assessment of Ergonomics(人體力學調查卷的評估)

1.        Is the inside surface of the footwear free from rough, sharp or hard areas that cause irritation or injury to the wearer?(成品鞋內部是否有粗糙,尖銳或堅硬之處,可能會導致穿著者刺激或傷害)

2.        Are there any pinch points caused by the toe cap or the edge covering of the toecaps? 鐵頭或鐵頭邊沿是否會造成擠壓)

3.        Is the footwear free from features that are considered to make wearing of the footwear hazardous? (成品鞋是否有導致穿著者危險的設計)

4.        Can the fastenings be adequately adjusted? (鞋帶等是否能充分調節)

      Toe ends are cut of as before 30 mm behind the toe cap back edge(從鐵頭邊沿後面30 mm處切取樣品)

Electrical insulation電絕緣

      Optional category of protection(可選的保護種類)

      Additional marking is required by the test method EN 50321 including class of protection(測試方法EN 50321中規定了對應的標記及保護等級)

Ankle protection(踝骨保護)

      Optional test with marking “AN” (可選測試,標記 “AN”

         Determination of shock absorption capacity of ankle protection materials incorporated into the upper(將有減震能力的踝骨保護材料與鞋面結合一體)

      The device used is that described in the motorcycle footwear standards(該設計用於摩托車鞋標準)

      Protective area is assessed(評估保護區域)

      Transmitted force through the sample is measured under a 10J impact strike10J沖擊條件下,測量通過樣品的傳導力量)

      The mean transmitted force shall be no greater than 20kN and no single result shall exceed 30kN(測量的傳導力量不能超過20kN,單獨的樣品結果部能超過30kN

 

Dimensional assessment(尺寸評估)

      The footwear is worn by a suitable user and the ankle point determined(尋找合適的使用者穿著鞋子,確定踝骨位置)

      A template disk with dimensions specified below is placed onto the protective area concentrically with the ankle point(將模板,尺寸詳見下表,放置在踝骨位置的保護區域中心)

      The protective area must exceed the template dimensions:(保護區域應大於模板尺寸)

Size 40 EUR, 6.5 UK and below

Sample preparation and attachment(樣品準備及附件)

      The product is marked around the outside of the dimensional assessment template(產品的尺寸評估模板的外側做標記)

      10mm is added to this all round is possible and then cut at this new mark

      This sample is laid on the anvil (see later) outer side uppermost(將樣品放置在測量裝置上)

      If required it can be attached to the device using a thin fabric or mesh with a 20 – 25mm hole(如果需要,可用薄的紡織品或孔直徑20 – 25mm格網將樣品固定在裝置上)

      This is placed over the sample and strapped down with elastic straps with an overall force of 5 – 10N(樣品放置好後,用彈性的帶子將樣品固定,力量5 – 10N

 

Test method(測試方法)

      The transmitted force shall be determined using a load cell mounted on the specified anvil(傳導力量可以用一安裝在指定裝置上的感應器測量)

      The flat faced impact striker of mass 5±0.01kg and dimensions 40×80mm with radius 5±0.1mm edges is dropped over sufficient height (roughly 0.2 mm) to give an energy of 10J(平面沖擊頭質量為5±0.01kg,尺寸為40×80mm,邊沿圓滑,半徑5±0.1mm,高度約為0.2mm,沖擊能量10J

 

Insulation against heat(熱絕緣)

      The hotplate sand bath has been changed(電爐沙浴已經改變)

      It now requires a dual heating zone bath of specified sizes(現採用指定直徑的雙重加熱圈)

      The dimensions of the sandbath now required are 400±20mm × 400±20mm and a height exceeding 50 mm(沙浴的尺寸為400±20mm × 400±20mm,高度大於50mm

      The temperature of test remains 150(測試溫度150

      As a result the temperature differential has slightly decreased due to the conditioning of the test piece at 23(為了避免溫度的差異影響測試結果,可將試樣放置子23的環境中)

      The quantity of the sand and particulate size is specified: 5000±250cm3 with a particle size of between 0.3 and 1mm.(沙子的數量為5000±250cm3,顆粒尺寸為0.31mm

      The grain size and quantity of sand better standardizes the insulating effect(沙子的顆粒尺寸及數量對絕緣效果有影響)

      The boot is put in the sand and pushed down until in contact with the base plate(鞋子放入沙子中,直至接觸底盤)

      The sand is then flattened down around the sides(將沙子弄平)

      The sand bath is preheated before test for 2 or more hours(沙浴測試前預熱至少2小時)

      The temperature rise on the inner surface of the shoe over a period of 30 minutes shall be 22 or less(鞋子內部溫度的變化,30分鐘不能超過22

      The standard also requires an assessment of serious damage after test effecting the functionality of the footwear(標準同時要求評估檢驗對鞋子功能的損害程度)

 

Insulation against cold(冷絕緣)

      The base plate shall now be made of Copper(底盤由銅制成)

      Dimensions 350±5mm × 150mm±1mm × 5±1mm thick(尺寸為350±5mm × 150mm±1mm × 5±1mm(厚度))

      Previously in EN 344-1 the base plate required was Copper/Zink alloy and the only specified dimension was a 5mm thickness (no tolerances)(以前的EN 344-1中,底盤由銅/鋅合金制成,指定的尺寸厚度為5mm(無公差))

      For the new norm the cabinet temperature is to be 17±2(新標準中,冷櫃溫度為﹣17±2

      For the previous norm EN344-1 the cabinet temperature required was 20±2(以前的EN344-1中,冷櫃溫度為﹣20±2

      Although the test temperature has changed, the temperature differential is the same(雖然測試溫度部同,但溫度差異還是一樣的)

      EN ISO 20344 Samples conditioned at 23 tested at 17 temperature differential of 40EN ISO 20334樣品放置環境為23,測試溫度為﹣17,溫度差異為40

      The severity of this test should be the same(測試程度不變)

      The requirements and method of test remain the same(測試方法和要求不變)

 

Energy absorption of the seat region(後跟區域能量吸收)

      The standard now requires a slight contour to the bottom of the test punch (last backparts)

      The depth of contour of the underside for different sizes of deepest point as follows

Code II footwear, leakproofness testing(代碼II成品安全,防漏測試)

      Code II is still subjected to exactly the same test(代碼II的測試相同)

      The required pressure has been reduced to 10kPa which it must withstand without leakage(要求的壓力已經降低為10kPa,要求無滲漏)

      Previously EN 344-1 required 50kPa(以前的EN 344-1要求為50kPa

 

(Blade) cut resistance((刀刃)防割裂)

      The dimensional requirements of the footwear have been changed(鞋子的尺寸要求已經改變)

      It is simply required to be from the feather edge 30mm up the side of the boot and covering the toe cap by at least 10mm(僅僅要求邊沿到鞋子的側面為30mm,並且復蓋鐵頭最少10mm

      There is now no requirement to extend the material under the lasted margin by 10mm(現在的要求為:材料延伸至楦頭邊沿10mm

      The least piece requirement has been changed to two samples, each 100 × 80 mm from the protective area(最小部分要求已經改變:保護區域2個樣品,尺寸為100 × 80 mm

 

Water resistance trough test(水槽防水測試)

      The change is simply the depth of the water(改變了水的深度)

      Previously this water was 5mm above the feather edge of the footwear(以前的要求為:高於鞋面邊沿5mm

      Now it becomes 30±3mm in depth(現改變為深度30±3mm

      The severity of this test is increased in general(測試的一般難度增加)

      With very thick sole units (25mm to featherline) the severity could be less(對於鞋底厚的產品,厚度>25mm,難度可能較低)

 

Determination of collars and uppers(鞋面及領口的確定)

      The standard defines a line below which upper components shall be deemed to be upper materials(標準定義了鞋面線,低於該線的鞋面部分可認為是鞋面材料)

      All materials failing below the line shall be tested in accordance with the requirements and test methods of an upper in addition to the requirements of a collar(高於該線的所有材料,應按符合鞋面的測試要求,另外還要符合領口的要求)

      Materials above the line (collars) shall be subject to testing in accordance with the methods and requirements of lining for Tear strength, abrasion resistance, pH and chromium VI content(領口的內裡材料應符合撕裂拉力,耐磨,pH值及鉻VI含量的測試要求)

      The collar material pictured here is below the defined height and as such will be tested as a upper(領口與鞋面的劃分見圖)

      Minimum heights below which the upper requirements shall be completely fulfilled(鞋面的最低高度)

Testing of footbeds/socks(鞋墊的測試)

      Testing of insoles and footbeds/socks is determined by the table called “basic requirements for insoles and/or insocks”(鞋墊的測試在目錄中稱為 鞋墊的基本要求

      Water permeable insocks are defined those which when tested for Water absorption/desorption let water through within 60s or less(透水鞋墊的定義為:水吸收/解吸附測試中,在60s或更段時間內,可以讓水通過)

      Insoles or Footbeds are now required for Classification code II products and are subject to the same testing as Classification code I(分類代碼III的產品的鞋墊,測試要求相同)

 

Option 1(選擇1

      Where no insole is present(無中底)

      The footbed must be permanently attached(固定式鞋墊)

      It must also meet requirements of: Thickness, pH (leather only), chromium VI (leather only), Water absorption/desorption and abrasion by the Martindale method(鞋墊應符合:厚度,pH值(針對皮革),鉻VI含量(針對皮革),水吸收/解吸附及Martindale耐磨的測試要求)

 

Option 2(選擇2

      Where no insock is present or seat socks are present(無鞋墊)

      The insole must meet the requirements for: Thickness, pH (leather only), chromium VI (leather only), Water absorption/desorption and abrasion by the martindale method(中底應符合:厚度,pH值(針對皮革),鉻VI含量(針對皮革),水吸收/解吸附及Martindale耐磨的測試要求)

 

Option 3(選擇3

      A full length footbed is fitted permanently(標準長度的固定鞋墊)

      The insock and insole (tested together) shall meet the requirements of: Thickness and Water absorption/desorption(鞋墊和中底一起測試,應符合厚度及水吸收/解吸附的測試要求)

      The insock alone shall be tested for: pH (leather only), chromium VI (leather only) and abrasion by the martindale method(鞋墊單獨測試:pH值(針對皮革),鉻VI含量(針對皮革),水吸收/解吸附及Martindale耐磨)

 

Option 4(選擇4

      A non permanently attached water permeable insock(活動式透水鞋墊)

      The insock shall be tested for: pH (leather only), chromium VI (leather only) and martindale abrasion(鞋墊應測試: pH值(針對皮革),鉻VI含量(針對皮革)及Martindale耐磨)

      The insole shall meet requirements of: Thickness, pH (leather only), chromium VI (leather only), Water absorption/desorption and abrasion by the Veslic method(中底應符合:厚度,pH值(針對皮革),鉻VI含量(針對皮革),水吸收/解吸附及Veslic耐磨的測試要求)

 

Option 5(選擇5

      A non permanently attached, non water permeable insock(活動式,非透水鞋墊)

      The insock shall be tested for: pH (leather only), chromium VI (leather only), Water absorption/desorption and martindale abrasion墊應測試: pH值(針對皮革),鉻VI含量(針對皮革)及Martindale耐磨)

      The insole shall meet requirements of: Thickness, pH (leather only), chromium VI (leather only), Water absorption/desorption and abrasion by the Veslic method(中底應符合:厚度,pH值(針對皮革),鉻VI含量(針對皮革),水吸收/解吸附及Veslic耐磨的測試要求)
